settlements, strong damaging winds, excessive lightning
and small hail is possible over the central and eastern
parts of both the Free State and North West as well as
the extreme south western parts of Gauteng.

Mpumalanga

Partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the Lowveld. It will become cloudy in the east in the evening.

North West

Partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and western parts but scattered in the extreme west.

Free State

Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers, except the north-east. It will be scattered in the extreme west.

Northern Cape

Fine and warm to hot in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and very hot to extremely hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly becoming strong in the afternoon.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape

Partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.
