B. Very hot to extremely hot and uncomfortable conditions are
expected over the north-eastern, in places over the eastern
parts and over the Cape Winelands of the Western Cape as well
as Khai-Ma Municipality of the Northern Cape until Wednesday
(14/01/2026).
C. Hot and humid and uncomfortable conditions are expected
over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu Natal.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly between Cape Agulhas and Strandfontein at first, becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly but light and variable along the south coast by the late afternoon.

Western Half Of The Eastern Cape
Morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in the extreme north with isolated thunderstorms over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly to south-westerly, becoming light and variable in the late afternoon.
Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape
Morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly, becoming moderate southerly to south-easterly in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal
Morning fog in the west and south-east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme north. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly north of Margate, otherwise light to moderate southerly to south-westerly spreading to Mandeni by late morning.
