Northern Cape
Fine and warm to hot in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and very hot to extremely hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly becoming strong in the afternoon.
Western Cape
Cloudy and cool to warm in the south with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast, otherwise fine and hot but very hot in the western parts. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly, reaching gale along the south-west from the afternoon.
