Warnings
Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms resulting in localised damage to
infrastructure, settlements (informal), property, vehicles, livelihoods, and livestock over
Gauteng, the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape as well as most parts of
the North West and Free State.
B. Yellow Level 2 Warning: Disruptive rainfall resulting in localized flooding of low-lying
bridges and settlements are expected along the escarpment and eastern Highveld of
Mpumalanga.

Hot to very hot and uncomfortable conditions are expected over the interior of
Namakwa, City of Cape Town, West Coast, and Cape Winelands Districts until Sunday.

Northern Cape
Partly cloudy and warm, becoming cloudy towards afternoon with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the extreme west. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.
Western Cape
Fine and warm to hot but very hot in places in the interior of the West Coast district where it will become cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers, spreading to the Central Karoo from late afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Fresh south-easterly in the west but strong easterly in the south and south-west, reaching near-gale between Cape Agulhas and Cape Point.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape
Cloudy with fog and light rain in places in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.
Kwazulu-Natal
Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and rain, but isolated in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be the wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly becoming light to moderate northerly to north-easterly south of Durban from the afternoon, spreading to Richards Bay in the evening.
