1. A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected
over Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, the central and eastern
parts of the North West, the northern parts of the Free State
and the northern and north-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal until
at least Friday (06 December 2024).
2. Extremely hot and uncomfortable conditions can be expected in
the Lowveld of Both Limpopo and Mpumalanga and the Western Bushveld
and the Valley of Limpopo until Saturday (04-07 December 2024),
including the extreme northern parts of Gauteng on Wednesday (04
December 2024).
Kwazulu-Natal
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the extreme south-east.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly north of Richards Bay, otherwise south-westerly to southerly.

Gauteng
Fine becoming partly cloudy and hot but very hot in places in the north. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon.

Mpumalanga
Fine and warm to hot, but very hot to extremely hot in the Lowveld. It will become partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in places along the escarpment.
Limpopo
Partly cloudy and hot to very hot but extremely hot in places in the Lowveld, Limpopo Valley and the Western Bushveld with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, except in the central northern parts.
North West
Fine, windy and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east in the late afternoon.
Free State
Cloudy in the extreme east at first, otherwise fine, windy and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy buy the afternoon. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in extreme the east by the late afternoon.
Western Cape
Partly cloudy in the extreme south-west in the morning, as well as in the extreme east, otherwise fine and warm.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south- easterly, becoming north-westerly along the south-west coast from the morning, but moderate to fresh westerly to south-westerly north of Cape Columbine.

Western Half Of The Eastern Cape
Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms in the north-east, but cloudy in the south-east.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly, but south-easterly in the afternoon, becoming north-easterly in the evening.
Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape
Hot in the north-west where it will be fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain but scattered in the south-east. Isolated thunderstorms are expected along the escarpment in the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly in the morning, otherwise south-easterly, becoming north-easterly in the evening.
